While a house raffle to fund children's cancer treatment is a win-win situation, it felt too transactional. Buyers of raffle tickets shouldn’t view this as just another lottery—lives are at stake, young lives. Similarly, sick children and their families shouldn’t feel as if their future hinges on real estate and chance.
Redefining the raffle as a program was crucial. We aimed to frame it as a sanctuary for both sides. A home is a refuge for the family living in it—a place where a sick child can regain a sense of normalcy after treatment. A home is where futures are built, roots are set, and life plans are nurtured. A home, sweet home, is where hope flourishes, for someone supporting a child's treatment and for the child whose hope for recovery and a loving future grows stronger.
It's not just a "Dream Home", isolated from the gravity of the situaton.
It's a "Home Sweet Hope".
With "Home Sweet Hope" and its iconic logo, this one-off fundraiser evolved into an annual program, vital for funding the treatment of 50 children each year. Its core emphasis on hope resonates deeply, encouraging the Lebanese community to contribute to a child's treatment and foster a better future for all involved.
